Exhibition Riverine | Maurice Gunning and Alice McDowell

Exhibition from 23rd January to 1st February 2016
Open daily from 10am – 8pm.

"Riverine" is a photographic exhibition by Irish artists Alice McDowell and Maurice Gunning. The work features 9 Gambian ex-circumcisers; women who have made the life-changing decision to abandon this traditional practice. Given recent political events in the country, Riverine is a timely and relevant celebration of freedom, equality and change.

The exhibition will run from 23 January - 1 February. There will be an official launch on Friday 27th January at 6pm - it will be opened by Executive Director of GAMCOTRAP, Dr Isatou Touray. All are welcome to attend.
